Step-by-Step Guide for Fixing Error Code 30

Inspecting Wires

Near handle bar you will see 4 wires that belongs to brake, throttle, screen & the button pad. First, we will check 3 wires excluding screen one and the obvious reason how we gonna check error 30 gone or not.

Simply disconnect them by pulling apart and see if pins are intact, no bends, no rust and female side is clear and pins are lining correctly. Now do this with all the wires except display and check error 30 has disappeared between each connection or not.

Now, if you still showing the error 30 then it means problem is between the screen and rest of the system.

Inspecting the Controller

So, now we will going to check the controller and 9 pin plug that comes from controller and goes up to the handlebar.

Now, disconnect the 9 pins plug and check is there any issue or not and if you see in the below image one pin is hitting wrong place in our case. So, let’s repair the pin.

Take a screwdriver or any tool that would place the pin correctly. Once it’s done then plug it in again and see if it’s still showing error 30 or not. But in my case it’s gone but if it’s still showing in your case that means you could have problem in the controller or maybe the main wire itself or last there could be problem with the motor that’s very very rare thing.

Let’s check the motor

Now, when you unplug the motor cable, you will see error 24H . If you do have error 30 in your system then it will reappear a few seconds after 24 has. As long as 30 appears it means your motor is totally fine.

Now, you must be thinking what is error 24H means to know read here.

Now, after doing everything it concludes with that issue is with LCD screen, the main wire as i mentioned earlier & of course the controller.

Now how to fix this at home?

2. Contact Tech Support

Contact tech support team and tell them what problem you’re facing, what are solutions (video) you have tried then they will let you know what you should do next. Keep this step in the last.
