How to Fix Error Code 24 on Your E-Bike

I have already covered Error Code 30 and it’s solution. Now, I got error code 24 on my ebike after crashing in the snow, strange naa! 😅 Well, no problem these things happen.

Now, that I have fixed that issue let me explain how this error occurs and give you the solution to how you can fix it at your home.

What is Error Code 24?

Whenever error code 24 shows up that means the problem is with the hall sensor. BTW where is the Hall sensor located?

Here Hall Sensor is Located

The hall sensor detects the position of the motor’s rotor and sends the information to the controller, which then adjusts the motor’s power output accordingly. If there is a problem with the hall sensor, wiring, or connections, Error Code 24 may appear.

Tools and Materials Require

  • Screwdrivers
  • Replacement cables or connectors
  • Insulation tape
  • User manual for your e-bike model

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide

Well, if you don’t know when and why error 24 shows you can see in the manual book that comes with the ebike.

Whenever error code 24 comes up that means power is not reaching to the motor and generally it happens because of a loosened motor connector and it’s obvious it won’t move. Now how to fix it? Here I will show you step by step.

As you can also see in your display Error 24 is blinking on your display.

Turn off the bike. Go down and you will find a cable that is connecting to the derailleur. In between you will find a connector.

Check if it’s loosened up or if the pins are bent or if is there any dirt. In my case connection became loose and the pins were not aligned properly.

I fixed the pins alignment, cleaned it and connected it properly. While connecting, follow the white arrow just like shown in the picture.

Now, turn on the bike and voila! error gone 🥳.

If Error Code 24 Presists
